Fario Tactical is designed for smaller rivers or lakes, where presentation is more important than distance casting. It presents nymphs and dries with total control and accuracy at short to medium distances (<20m) and will also manage smaller streamers, but is mainly a line for stealthy and delicate presentation work. This line's construction and head length is highly recommended for beginners as you load the rod properly with a relatively short line outside the rod tip. Furthermore it easily generates good line speed and contact between the rod and line, something that can be challenging for beginners at fly casting. When fishing from a float tube you sit low and a shorter head like this makes casting easier. In the open areas of a lake you are exposed to wind and Fario Tactical is much less affected by wind than the other two lines in the series. A great line for the novice to learn the basics and a tactical weapon for the improver/advanced caster.
