Semperfli Synthetic Herl 1mm Extra Small is a fritz / chenille is designed to imitate natural Peacock. It contains all the iridescents found in natural Peacock Herl with accents of blue, green, copper and gold highlights.

The color changes depending of different lighting conditions just like the natural fibres, used for many years as a stunning iridescence fly tying material. Fly tyers love the way the colors change as you look at this amazing material so the Semperfli team decided to create a synthetic peacock herl that would reflect the different colors like the natural fibres. The new Peacock Herl is a mix of different colored tinsels embedded in black, blue and green backgrounds on a tight core. This creates the peacock’s natural iridescence and color changing effects as light hits different parts of the herl.

You can very quickly cover the hook shank with simple wraps to create a perfect alternative to Peacock Herl which will never snap when wrapping. It is available in Black Peacock, Blue Peacock and Green Peacock.
