Product details

The turkey feather is similar to marabou but with shorter fibers. It is used to create soft hackles, using a dubbing loop. It can also be wrapped around the hook shank to form the bodies of streamers or nymphs.

The fibers have the ideal length for crafting tails for mini streamers and wings for reservoir flies, such as the cormorant.

The upper part of the feather can be used for making wings for wet flies.
